Stating that Arabs' priority in purchasing property is not waterside residences, Ayıkcan said, "Arabs look more at special properties such as waterside residences and villas and get ideas." Emphasizing that high interest rates have brought the real estate market into recession, waterside residence sales expert Yüksel Ayıkcan said, "This recession has also stopped waterside mansion sales on the Bosphorus, but positive expectations in the economy will accelerate the change of hands of mansions in the coming days."
